Nutritious Winter Porridge

Oats are highly nutritious and a great start to a cold winters day…to make your Porridge even healthier and very yummy why not try adding the following herbs and things to your Organic Oats….

1/2 cup of Organic Rolled Oats
1 – 3 teaspoons Organic St Mary’s/Milk Thistle – Ground
1 teaspoon of Organic Cinnamon &/or Organic Ginger
Grinding of Sea Salt or Himalayan Salt
1 heaped teaspoon of Organic Raw Honey
1 – 2 tablespoons of Organic Berries frozen or fresh
Mix the above (except for the honey & berries) together in a pot and add in 1 and 1/4 cup of water.
Bring to the boil, stirring constantly.
Once at boiling point, stir occasionally, take off the heat anytime between 1 – 5 minutes dependent on how you like your oats.
While the porridge is boiling take a heaped teaspoon of Organic Raw Honey and soften, if liquid no need to soften.
Take 1 – 2 tablespoons of Organic Frozen Berries and blitz in a blender (nutribullet or similar).
When ready pour porridge into bowl, swirl honey over the top and add frozen berries in the middle, add milk of choice.
