Mullein rich in Iron, Magnesium, Potassium, Sulphur, Vitamins A, B-Complex and Vitamin D. Its main actions are centered in the respiratory system, the saponins within stimulate expectoration and make mucus more fluid and the mucilage within the leaves is soothing and helps relax the bronchial musculature. Dispelling congestion from the lungs and particularly soothing where irritation &/or inflammation is present. Making it very supportive for: bronchitis, respiratory catarrh, hard persistent coughs, tuberculosis, whooping cough, common cold, pleurisy.

Thyme rich in Iodine, Sodium, Silicon, Sulphur, Vitamins C, B-Complex and Vitamin D. Its primary role is in treating respiratory tract problems, thymol within has shown to have relaxing expectorant actions reduce spasmodic muscular activity. Helping to dispel congestion from the lungs and is used particularly for chest conditions where irritation &/or inflammation is present i.e. bronchitis, tracheitis, dry & hard coughs, nervous coughs, pleurisy, whooping cough, asthma, aspergillosis, laryngitis, bronchial catarrh.

Licorice rich in Phosphorus, Manganese, Iodine, Chromium, Zinc, Vitamins E & B-Complex. Liquritin within has shown anti-inflammatory, demulcent (soothing), and expectorant properties. Combined with stimulation of mucus secretion it makes an amazing herb to use in respiratory complaints. Studies have shown it to be effective in relieving sore throats, reducing incidence and severity as well as relief of cough. As well as this it has been shown to inhibit virus growth and in some instances inactivates virus particles, particularly active against herpes simplex viruses, epstein barr virus, varicella zoster virus (chicken-pox), and human immunodeficiency virus (AIDs virus). Also inhibits bacteria plaque formation by Streptococcus mutans which is commonly found in the mouth when tooth decay is present. It’s actions help bring relief to acute & chronic bronchitis, bronchial catarrh, asthma, chronic coughs, irritation of the respiratory mucosa.

Hops rich in Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Iodine, Manganese, Iron, Sodium and Vitamin B-Complex has fantastic antispasmodic and anti-bacterial actions helping to fight infection as well as relieve the ache of excessive coughing, nervous coughs, asthma and irritable coughs.
