Known more commonly for it's use in the making of Absinthe. In Mexico it was worn on the heads of women in celebrations honoring the Goddess of Salt. It was considered the apocalyptic tool of God to punish a sinful mankind - "... it grew up in the trail from the serpents tail, as it slithered out of the Garden of Eden...". Egyptian papyrus dating from 1600B.C. described Wormwood as a medicine to rid the body of worms, and it is used for this purpose to this day.
