Lemon verbena native to South America, was named after Maria Louisa the princess of Parma and wife of King Carlos IV King of Spain.

It was bought to Europe by Spanish explorers in the 17th Century from Argentina & Chile. It was used for its lemony oil which was used in perfumes and beverages. Used in cooking to this day in salads, drinks, cakes & desserts as well as flavouring cheeses, and meats.

It has been shown to be beneficial with the following conditions as well as actions:
