Black Walnut contains within: 1,4 - naphthoquinones jug lone & plumbagin. Plumbagin inhibits motility of and hatching of Haemonchus contortus (red stomach worm) first stage larvae, as well as larvicidal towards Ascaris suum (roundworm) & partial inhibition of A.suum embryonic development. Black Walnut is a gentle and effective laxative; anti-viral; kills warts; anti-fungal; anti-viral, shown to help fight herpes virus, cold-sores, as well as anti fungal, fighting athletes foot, candida, S.T.D's, malaria and even acne. Newer research has shown Black Walnut to help lower high blood pressure, as well as lower serum cholesterol levels, balance blood sugar levels, reduce excessive sweating, and stanch excessive loss of blood whether it be due to menorrhagia, nose bleeds or other internal bleeding. As well as kill parasites it has been shown to help relieve colic, heartburn, flatulence, works as a cholagogue (stimulate bile flow), ease bilious colic, and pain in the spleen.
